A Chance Meeting In Costa

I have helped a Norwegian lady who currently lives in Norway. She’s a qualified dementia carer, working very long hours. Both the hours and the work itself are taking its toll on her own health.

Her plan is to move to the UK permanently very soon and to help her family as well as having far more quality time with them.

This relationship started as a chance meeting when Costa was very busy and the only available seats were at her table. We started chatting, realised we had a lot in common and that led to keeping in touch via Facebook. Our friendship grew and it was hearing about how difficult work was that I quite naturally asked if she was open to looking at an opportunity that could change that. She immediately saw it as her solution to getting a better life, has started in Norway and will grow her business in the UK when she moves here.

Helping Down Under

One person I have helped lives in New Zealand.

I met her here in the UK when she was visiting her sister in law who is a friend of mine.

She wanted an extra income so she can visit the UK whenever she chooses, to visit her daughter and grandchildren who are resident here.

She got involved in the six weeks she was in the UK, started her team with the UK daughter and returned to New Zealand where she has grown her team with friends and family joining her there. It was very straightforward to change New Zealand into her home country and using modern technology such as Skype, it’s so easy to work together.

David is thinking of the future……

Sat opposite my darling man having our cuppa at Costa (as we do) then out of the blue he says “When I’m not here any more, you won’t be doing Forever”.

My immediate reaction – is he unwell, where did that come from?! So quite calmly I respond “What makes you say that?” His answer – “Well how will you carry your bags without my wheelchair!”.

I answered honestly & without hesitation “I’ll have one of those Forever suitcases!”. Explosion of laughter & we both nearly choked!! Oh how I love him xxx
